Backpacker Magazine recently published it's list of the top 25 places to raise an outdoor kid in America.
Coming in at number 17 was none other than Sevierville, TN. The study used 38 separate metrics to build there rankings. Among those that factored in were distance to the nearest national park, unemployment rates, obesity rates, climate, and low state taxes.
