And you’d be right. This summer, the city of Pigeon Forge is giving away 8,500 gallons of gasoline to Pigeon Forge visitors as part of The Great Gas Giveaway. That’s as much as a whole tanker truck full of fuel! That's right, you have the opportunity to win thirty dollars in free gasoline just by visiting the city of Pigeon Forge this summer!
Members of The Gas Patrol will be out in full force looking to randomly give visitors a certificate good for thirty dollars in gas redeemable at Pigeon Forge gas stations. Winners may redeem the gas certificates in the Pigeon Forge Welcome Center on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge.
The Gas Patrol intends to give away these certificates at random throughout the city through the month of July. The lucky winners could be anywhere, at Pigeon Forge restaurants, theaters, or even the many shops around town.
The first winners were playing a game of mini-golf when members of The Gas Patrol approached, saying “today is your lucky day” and handing over a certificate for free fuel. The promotion has already made national news, and there is plenty of gasoline left to giveaway. So make plans to head for Pigeon Forge, you might just have the chance to fill up on the best kind of gasoline around, the free kind!

we live in Vancouver, BC , way on the west side of Canada. We are making our first visit to Tennessee in August. We say your great offer of gas to tourists to your area. We won't be there in July, but wonder if you would consider sending us a coupon for gas so that we can visit Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, as they are on our list of attractions to visit. I would like to let Pigeon Forge know that I appreciate all the things that they do for people to come to there city. I was there in November when Dollywood let Katrina victims in for free and that was very beautiful. Now I', planning to come back on July 17 for a week and this gas thing that you are doing is terrific for vacationers.

Visited Pigeon Forge for the first time in May 2006. I can't stop thinking about the people, music and the Smokeys. There is sooooo much to do there! It just gets to you! It is very exciting and relaxing at the same time. The food is like nowhere I've ever been. Keep up the good work!
We will be back for the second time (my 3rd time) in just a couple weeks (Jun3 24-30) This time we are bringing the whole kit and kaboodle family. 30 people in all. 6 cars full...hope you still have some of those gas coupons *laugh*. We LOVE Pigeon Forge and area. So much to do so little time to do it all in. Thats why we keep coming back. And the scenery WOW! I plan to retire there...who needs florida or arizona...I have Pigeon Forge TN!!!!!!

We live in Winchester,Ky. We are making our eighth summer vacation in a row to Pigeon Forge. We love coming there every year, there is so much to do and not enough time to do it in. We enjoy going to Dixie Stampede and all the other attractions there. The people there are so friendly and nice everywhere you visit. We will be visiting June 19-23,2006 and can't wait to get there.

I am from Grayson,Kentucky and I visited Pigeon Forge and the Smokies back in the 80's when I was a kid several times. I had forgotten how fun and how much there is to do there. Me and my family visited there last September and were very pleased. We are planning to come back again this September and bring my dad and stepmom with us.

We come to Pigeon Forge at least 2 times a year. We love staying at Main Stays( with our family) and Red Roof When it is the two of us. We will be visitng Main Stays Sunday June 25th for 4 nights with our grandson. He will swim from sun up til the pools close. The gas offer you are

We have been coming to the pigeon forge area for about 22 yrs as a couple and bringing our boys for about the last 15 prior to that my wifes family came ever year on their way home from vising hickory Horth Carols where her grandparents lived. Beautiful area, we are thinking maybe winters there during retirement would be good.
