While the current economic downturn has caused the cancellation of several long-standing motorcycle events around the country, Ignacio Bike Week is going on strong through September 7, bringing motorcyclists from all over the United States to Southwest Colorado for the 16th year.
There will be four days of poker runs taking riders through the variety of terrain and scenery for which southwest Colorado is famous. Biker bull riding and the various biker competitions will again provide entertainment for participants and spectators alike. Being a family event, Ignacio Bike Week will also have special events for the kids on Saturday. Sunday's bike parade will be a colorful showcase of rally riders going in both directions along Goddard Avenue. We hope to see you on Main St. this coming Labor Day.
