Lyle Lovett and His Large Band take the stage under the stars at Fort Lewis College on July 27. Touring to promote his most recent release, It's Not Big It's Large, Lovett has emerged as a talent known for an eclectic array of music, ranging from country and folk to big-band swing and traditional pop. He has a gift for big band arrangements- however, in typical Lovett style, it's big band with a twist.
Tickets - general admission $40 each, with reserved seats available for $75 each - are on sale at the Community Concert Hall Ticket Office in Downtown Durango, by phone, 970.247.7657 or www.durangoconcerts.com. Children under 12 will be admitted free with an adult bearing a general admission ticket. Gates open at 5:00 pm with opening acts Greg Ryder at 5:30 pm, The Lisa Blue Trio at 6:15 pm, Bob Livingston at 7:00 pm with Lyle Lovett & His Large Band on stage at 8:00 pm. He will play for over 2 hours!
