Rocky Mountain Horse Expo

| | Comments (0)

With the southern San Juan mountains covered in dazzling color, fall is a great time to head to Durango for the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo. A lively group of clinicians, trainers and speakers will be in the spotlight at the La Plata County Fairgrounds:

Julie Goodnight - Horse/Human interactions (three sub-topics)
Troy Rogers - Versatility ranch competition skills
Karen Scholl - Horsemanship for women
Ryan Gingerich - Innovative training approaches
Dr. Jim Heird - "I'm whispering but my horse isn't listening"

On the trade show floor, vendors will offer a wide array of goods and services for the horse enthusiasts of today and the young stars of the future. New for this fall, artist Pamela Mougin will exhibit her exceptional portraits of horses in a variety of media, including black and white prints, hand-painted canvas, and enhanced prints with tapestry borders. Every Rocky Mountain Horse Expo offers a unique blend of education, entertainment, shopping, horse sales and more. Catch Durango's special style of Horse Expo, October 5-7.
